Cats are usually attracted to interesting objects like houseplants and sky raisins, but occasionally, they will get a taste for things that are definitely not intended for feline consumption. When this taste for non-food items occurs, it can come with deadly consequences. One adorable black feline named Popcorn developed Pica at eight months of age and nearly lost her life.
Thankfully for Popcorn, she’s got a dedicated cat mom who knew that something was seriously wrong and rushed her to the vet without hesitation. And it’s a good thing that she did because now Popcorn is here to tell the tale and can live out the rest of her nine lives as happily as can.
